Clearheaded
But let us who live in the light be clearheaded …
1Thessalonians 5:8 NLT
Do you have projects that you have started, but stopped?
What made it stop? Confusion? Unclear direction?
When confusion sets in the mind, it can stop a project… bringing it to a screeching halt.
The enemy knows this scheme.
If you or I are prompted by Jesus to do something that will bring spiritual good… get your helmet ready.
Because the enemy will send in a spiritual fog to stop it… Suddenly, what was clear will not be so clear… Suddenly, you will feel unsure.
You are under attack.
What do you do?
But let us who live in the light be clearheaded, protected by the armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation. (1Thessalonians 5:8 NLT).
Trust your salvation in Jesus.
This helmet is confidence in salvation… confidence in the love of Jesus.
This is supernatural power Jesus places within our hearts… our minds. (Ephesians 3:19).
This helmet is the truth of salvation that protects your mind… and faith is the shield that blocks the enemy’s arrows designed to fog the mind (Ephesians 6:16).
So, the mind stays clear… clearheaded.
Now, once your helmet is securely in place… what do you do next?
Put on salvation as your helmet, … and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. (Ephesians 6:17 NLT)
Pick up your sword… pick up the Word of God.
And fight back at Jesus’ command!
Remember… Jesus is the Word (John 1:1-17)… He knows what to say.
I am so thankful Jesus will bring to mind all the truth to stop the enemy’s deception… to stop the enemy’s fog.
Ask Jesus to bring all the truth to bring clarity to what He is directing you to do.
Lord of Heaven’s Armies, in the quiet of my heart, You speak to me warning me that the enemy’s goal is to cloud my mind, so I lose my direction, so things are unclear… but You help me fight, taking things back, clearing the path with Your sword of truth, the Word of God that shines a light on the right path and restores my clear direction. Thank you! In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
