Nov 14 Contagious Laughter

A cheerful heart is good medicine…
Proverbs 17: 22

He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy.
Job 8:21

I took my daughter to her scheduled dance class and was watching her through the glass window. She was leading a conversation with a group of her classmates just before class started. As I was watching her facial expressions I could tell she was getting to a good part of the story, when she started to smile and then laugh. The reaction of the girls around her was priceless as they all belted out in laughter over this most intriguing story my daughter was telling.
It brought so much joy to my heart seeing her give each of her friends a gift – laughter.

Dear Awesome God,
What a blessing that You give us the gift of laughter and joy to our heart.
Help us to slow life down, enjoy the little things and laugh a little more.
