Their temper can become a snare, pulling us into patterns of frustration, bitterness, or even sin. That is why setting healthy boundaries is not just wise—it’s biblical.

Barrel of Monkeys

Can anyone else relate to having a barrel of monkeys for a family?  When I was a child, my grandma’s house would be considered our “barrel.” That was where everyone showed up after work, for family meals and holidays.

Life is Short

Each week I move a button from one jar on my desk to another. One jar has enough buttons to represent each week I hope to live until I reach age 70. The other jar holds buttons for each week I’ve completed.
