Woman at the Well

Woman at the Well

When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?” The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.) Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that ask you for a drink you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”
John 4: 7-10

Jesus has no boundaries when it comes to people. The Samaritan women knew she was not good enough for a Jew to talk with her - yet Jesus Christ was waiting for her! In fact, He went out of His way in order to meet this woman. She was His appointment that day!

Jesus wants to give you the gift to never thirst again. Your past sins can haunt you, drag you down, and separate you from the ones you love, leaving you spiritually dry. It takes courage to finally admit your past mistakes.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for going out of Your way to meet us where we are and realizing we are imperfect, broken and in need for a Savior. Help us Lord to admit when we have done wrong, whether it is something we did yesterday or years ago. Allow us to see that our dark sins do not have to bind us any longer, but that we can be free, thanks to Your amazing grace.

A Sinner Saved by Grace,
Amen

Charity O
