Hide and Seek

I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me.

Proverbs 8:17

My girls love playing hide and seek. The thrill of finding the perfect hiding spot with the hope of outsmarting the seeker creates a fun game for the whole family. Hide and Seek may be a fun family game for us but we can never play it with God. 

He is never hiding from us. He is always there when we seek Him. In fact, if we were honest with ourselves, there may be times we are the ones doing the hiding from God.

The Bible tells us that He will always be there for us because He loves us. He desires that close relationship with us. Let’s not play games with God. Give Him your whole heart and you will be the “winner” every time.

Dear God Almighty,

Thank You for always being available when we need You. Please forgive me when I try to hide my sin from You. I love You and I need You.
