It was that time for me to go bluejean shopping. I excitedly walked into the department store with assurance I would come out with a couple of pairs of jeans. This particular store had a huge selection, one wall designated just for bluejeans - I mean jackpot!

They had so many options of bluejeans: skinny, regular, tall, super skinny, bootcut, and hipsters; it quickly became overwhelming and confusing. If picking out your style and size was not difficult, trying them on was. I had an arm loaded with jeans to try on, however, not a single pair fit me just right. It was either too big in the waist, too long, too tight around the hips, or too baggy in the legs. I was quickly getting the blue jean blues.

As I walked out of the store empty handed, I was discussing my frustration to the Lord. He gently responded,​ Aren’t you glad that having a relationship with me is not that difficult?

Dear Father,
Thank You so much that having a relationship with You is not that difficult.
I am so glad that You make it easy for us to become children of God. We can have assurance that once we confess our sins to You, declare You as Lord, and believe in Your death and resurrection, we are saved.
