The year 1996 was the year to assist my daughter, the bride, in finalizing her wedding plans. One thing I discovered is that weddings require lots of shopping. Although our time together was precious and priceless, I had an opportunity to look at my shopping habits "up close & personal!"
Shop till you drop! I love it,
but I sure can't turn a profit.
My money goes, too oft to waste.
Frivolous spending?
Expensive taste?
My buying habits, are they a disgrace!
The time I lose hunting for a bargain,
money and time lost time and again,
would be time better spent in the light of my Lord,
or shining His lamp in the night of the world.
