INSIDE AND OUT
"She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple."
Proverbs 31:22

(In quiet moments, I like to meditate on the inner qualities of the woman described in Proverbs. In rare courageous moments, I like to use her descriptions as a measuring stick for my own heart...)

The quality of fabric is the same,
covering her bed,
or covering her frame.
Fine linen, sheen of purity,
a princess in wedding finery.
The color purple, royalty,
a bride of Christ fit with glory.
Her life,
inside-and-out,
shines with quality equal.
Inside-and-out, righteous.
Inside-and-out, regal.
My outer life will shine,
consistent with inner purity.
Am I close enough to God
for you to see His glory?
