Thanks for joining me today. On Tuesday, we discussed voicing our worst fears to God. Wednesday, we discovered that when we rejoice in God as an act of the will, our fears are swallowed by our faith.
Today's passage confirms that God listens, He responds to our faith in Him and He gives us His promises.
First of all, He promises us His strength. A strength that we can not produce independently.
Secondly, He made our feet like those of a female deer (hind's feet). We are able to move forward through difficult and unknown terrain, step by step, steadily with perseverance, proven character and hope.
Thirdly, He makes us walk on the mountains in our lives (on my high places).
I especially need His strength today to steady my "hind's feet" so that I can walk on the "mountains in my life". The circumstances of my life may not change, but God is here to help me persevere.
