TALK TO GOD

Though the fig tree should not blossom
And there be no fruit on the vines,
Though the yield of the olive should fail,
And the fields produce no food,
Though the flock should be cut off from the fold,
And there be no cattle in the stalls,
Habakkuk 3:17

Good morning! This verse may not be a lifter upper, but hang in there with me this week and you will understand why Habakkuk 3:17 along with verses 18 and 19 have encouraged me through the years.

I have been married 25 years and there have been times of plenty and times of little, painful times and joyful times, mountaintop experiences and down in the valley experiences. I often replace the underlined sections of this verse with my own concerns and fears as I pray.

Voice your fears, talk to God. Replace the underlined words to personalize this verse with your own set of circumstances. After all, He is your Heavenly Father, your personal Savior and your Comforter.
