Here it is, Wednesday. I don't know about you, but why is there always more work to do than there are days left in which to complete it. I'm having one of those weeks.
I was thinking about my need for commitment to completing the tasks before me. Then I recalled Daniel, a youth whose commitment to doing God's will was the highest priority in his life. And God honored that commitment. Or what about Esther, who bravely stood before her husband, the king. She spoke out for reversal of a decree that would have killed her and her people. They were chosen by God and placed strategically to do His will.
Should it be any differently for us? Was I chosen by God and am I strategically placed in my family, in my workplace and in my community to be committed to doing God's will?
