REAL FEASTS
Proverbs 31:14
"She is like the merchant ships bringing her food from afar."
It is so hard to find the time and the money to fix only the gourmet. I fall short. And what about the spiritual food on my table?
The food that she purchases,
nothing but the best,
variety,
fresh spices,
all stand the gourmet test.
I dream of the perfect kitchen,
hearty meals fixed with finesse.
With the ingredients on hand, I come up with a little less.
Of spicy variety,
from foolproof recipe,
on the spiritual table, fresh soul foods abound.
Lessons from afar,
yet today plain and clear.
In God's word, true nourishment's found.
Today I'll focus on the real feast!
