FAITHFULNESS

BUT THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, SELF-CONTROL, AGAINST SUCH THINGS THERE IS NO LAW. GALATIANS 5:22

As I awakened this morning, I reflected on God's faithfulness to our family. Shouldn't I draw upon His consistent faithfulness and demonstrate it to my employer and co-workers as well as my family? Faithfulness is loyal committment. At work it means I should utilize my time wisely and efficiently. I want to be a productive employee and I'm very grateful for my job. Going to work in the morning is not hard because I like what I do, but it is hard to maintain a loyal committment day after day, year after year.

In I Timothy 1:12 , Paul says, "I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service". We are daily in His service whether at work or at home, in our church or in our community. He has considered us trustworthy to minister to others as His respresentatives.

Ask yourself these questions:

1) Am I a trustworthy employee/employer?

2) Can my co-workers, family members, and clients see Jesus through me?

3) Do I share Jesus with those who do not know Him?

If you did not answer yes to all the questions, go to the Lord in prayer, ask Him to reveal to you what you need to change, and guide you in the "how-to" do it.

I'll be back in three weeks. Jo will be here on Monday morning, please join her.
