Surges of Joy

My thoughts as I wondered, "am I happy today,"
Seemed filled with confusion, in an uncertain way.
I asked my Lord, " why such feelings should be,
When I 've prayed from my heart, for peace to fill me?"

The answers though bleak, seemed to surface somewhat,
"Are you willing to go, where I lead you, or not?
I chose you then called you, your heart became mine,
Now why must you question,MyWill all the time?

" The plans I mapped out, for your life won't you see,
They were made in advance, long before you knew Me.
The frustrations in life, are a part of My plan,
Sometimes sent by Me, so you'll reach for My hand."

"Never My Love, will you face them alone,
By trusting My word, you're not on your own.
Then Oh the rewards, your faith will bring you,
They'll spill onto others, rewards for them too."

"So walk with Me daily, though happy or sad,
I'll send surges of Joy, to make your heart glad.
Then you'll be refreshed, your thoughts pure and new,
By this you'll remember, My Love is with you. . . .
