Continuing with the third part of my life purpose - to exercise my talents for God's work...
In her book, Designing a Woman's Life, Judith Couchman emphasizes our need to discover the unique way each of us can do God's work, as nobody else can.
First things still come first:
1. My love for God.
2. Loving others as Jesus would, beginning at home.
3. But each of us has a very personal way of making Jesus visible, and real, to others.
My design? I want to point others to Jesus by:
*encouraging them to dig deep into the Word of God to find the way to life eternal and the way to live as Jesus would.
-I am not a great teacher, but I can organize women's studies at my church and my husband's office.
-I love to write these devotionals, hoping you will see Jesus more clearly.
-I trust God to use His word to do whatever He desires. It will accomplish the purpose for which (He) sent it.
Now, your design? It is already a part of you! And...
*If you know what you're about, you will not be distracted
as easily by all the other requests for your time.
*If you are not where you would like to be in your life or
work, you can still accomplish your purpose if you know it!
