comes from words,
my conversation.
godless chatter? idle patter? seasoned grace?
To God, it matters.
GRACE forgives the careless sin,
offers joy from hearts, within.
SALT soothes a wound, in right dilution,
rather stings in high solution,
preserves meat, alternately savors
culinary's unique flavors.
My words, with prudence, do the same.
Accept with joy, yet values retain.
Point out a fault, applaud a gain,
turn into a vault a step of pain.
I can draw others to kingdom questions
with grace, seasoned to perfection.
