This week we are discussing the four basis temperaments. Did you discover a cherry choleric at your workplace? You may have found some of the characteristics in yourself. It is highly unlikely that any one person will fit only in one temperament type. Usually, there is a weaving of individual traits in any one personality. Psalm 139:13 tells us that "God didst form my inward parts; Thou didst weave me in my mother's womb."
In our verse today, Mary had temperament traits
similar to an "orange sanguine". She demonstrated her
desire to interact with Jesus. Mary was "listening to the
Lord's word, seated at his feet". She was obviously enthusiastic,
sincere at heart, probably wide-eyed and innocent and living for
the moment. While she had Jesus full attention, Mary chose to
do the right thing. In a different situation, Mary might have
been considered naive and undisciplined.
In our workplace, co-workers with an orange sanguine temperament may have some of these traits:

1. Give them an opportunity to verbalize their ideas and you help transfer the talk into action.
2. Provide written details but don't elaborate on them.
3. Be democratic
4. Be friendly
5. Give them opportunities to have fun and stimulating activities.
Are you the orange sanguine personality in your office? Good, because every office needs one or it would be boring to go to work everyday.
In regard to the weaknesses, remember to check-in with the Holy Spirit about whether these are areas in your life that need to be changed. Then allow the Lord to use your temperament type for His glory, as He did for Mary.
